Frequently asked questions

Is there a free trial?

Yes — every plan includes a 30-day free trial. Your card is collected upfront but not charged until the trial ends. You can cancel any time during the trial at no cost.

Do I need to replace my POS?

No. StoreSenz reads your existing POS — CRE/RSI, Square, Clover, Shopify, and others. You keep using your POS exactly as you do today. The sync agent installs on your store PC and runs in the background.

How does the sync agent work?

A lightweight Windows app connects to your POS database locally and pushes data to StoreSenz every few minutes. Your POS credentials never leave your store network. If the connection drops, it resumes automatically — no data loss.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated for the remainder of the billing period. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period. You can manage everything from Settings → Billing in your dashboard.

How is billing handled?

Subscriptions are billed monthly per location via Stripe. If a payment fails, you get a 7-day grace period and an email alert before any access is affected. You can update your payment method at any time.

Is my POS data sent to the cloud?

Only the fields needed by the modules in your plan are synced. Credentials stay on your store PC. Synced data is encrypted in transit and at rest on Google Cloud Platform.

How are Stripe payments handled for online orders?

Customer payments for online orders go directly into your store's Stripe account via Stripe Connect — StoreSenz never holds your funds. You receive payouts from Stripe on your normal schedule.

What AI providers do you use?

StoreSenz supports Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, and Google Gemini for demand forecasting and AI features. You can choose which provider is used for your account in your dashboard settings. We always say “StoreSenz AI” in the UI — never a specific model name.
